SUPPORT FOR THE SOUL

May 11, 2022

If you need help in financial planning, there are financial planners who can help.  If you need a coach for personal physical training, there are workout gyms who can help.  If you need help in applying to schools, there are counselors who can help.  If you need help in becoming a better person, where do you go for help?  Come discover where you go for support for the soul.

Lee's aspiration to become the best he can be, came from adherance to Rotary's Four-Way Test.  Lee has been a Rotarian since 1990.  He loves hiking and the outdoors, and has a zest for life.  He is interested in people's stories, and his ability to reach out to others has been both an inspiration and motivation to many.

George Coombs, General Manager

RENO RODEO

May 18, 2022

Since he came to his position in 2015, George has dedicated himself to the year-round role as the General Manager of the fourth largest rodeo in North America.  His job involves coordinating countless moving pieces to ensure the success of this historic ten-day event.  As a relatively new addition to the Reno Rodeo team, George brought a wealth of business and rodeo experience from his previous home in Caldwell, Idaho.  At the time of their move, George and his lovely wife, Shannon, had been living in Idaho for 52 years.  He jokingly explains that it took them that long to "grow their wings."  George will share with us the exciting events planned for this years Rodeo June 16-25.
