A member of Eric Musselman’s staff since 2016, Brandon Chambers enters his second season as the Director of Basketball Operations. In this role, Chambers works in conjunction with the coaching and support staff to ensure that all team-related needs are met. He oversees the practice schedule, aspects of recruiting, game scheduling, and team travel. His duties also include assisting the coaching staff in developing game strategies, breaking down game film, planning practices and contributing in staff meetings.  
 
Mr. Chambers comes to Nevada from Paul VI High School located in Fairfax, Va. where he helped guide the team to a 20-14 record and 10-8 mark in the Washington Capital Athletic Conference as an assistant basketball coach.  The Panthers earned a spot in the WCAC playoffs.  Prior to that, Mr. Chambers spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Misericordia University in Dallas, PA. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University and was a manager working with the men’s basketball team. Chamber’s graduated from VCU in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Ronnie Burton Jr.Mr. Chambers will be joined by Ronnie Burton Jr., who is entering his first year with the University of Nevada.  In his role as Assistant Director for Development, he helps secure philanthropic gifts in support of the academic and athletic needs of Wolf Pack Student-Athletes. Prior to his time in Reno, Ronnie worked for Major League Baseball’s Office of the Commissioner in scouting operations helping run the administrative portion of the Major League Baseball draft and as a baseball operations supervisor helping oversee the Arizona Fall League. Before his time at MLB, he worked as an assistant baseball coach at California Lutheran University during the 2015-2016 season and as a recruiting assistant with Michigan State Football during the 2013-2014 season. Ronnie received his Masters of Legal Studies in Sports Law and Business from Arizona State’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2015. He graduated from California Lutheran University with a BA in communications in 2013.
