Our meeting on May 1, 2019 will feature Dr. Tyrus W. Cobb (COL/USA), who served as Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (1987-89) and prior to that as Director of Soviet, European and Canadian Affairs on the National Security Council (NSC) (1983-89). He was the Executive Secretary for two of President Reagan’s Summits with Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, in Geneva (1985) and Reykjavik (1986).

Colonel Cobb will be leading an interactive discussion on some of the major national security challenges facing President Trump and the US.
