Jamie Vaughn is a recent breast cancer survivor, who is a fierce advocate for other breast cancer patients and survivors. She is the host of the "Test Those Breasts!"™ podcast where she holds important conversations with current patients, survivors, caregivers, therapists and medical provider champions, to provide much-needed education and support. "Test Those Breasts, Inc."™ is a nonprofit that includes resources and education about the signs of breast cancer. Jamie will share with us the importance of self exams, early detection, and self-advocacy using the "Know Your Lemons" curriculum. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Be Vigilant! |

Carson Costa has always had a healthy fascination for the world and all its intricacies, and travel has been a central pillar in his life. He graduated from UNR in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and along the way was lucky enough to do a couple of foreign exchange programs, including Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) - a year-long immersive program. Carson is co-president of ROTEX, a society of past Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) alumni who engage with current Inbounds and Outbounds to better their exchange experiences. Carson will share with us his experiences, and how he sees ROTEX as potential future Rotarians - the next generation - who have first hand Rotary experience. |
