August 6, 2014 Program: RYLA
RYLA is a Rotary International program intended to develop character and leadership capabilities in tomorrow’s leaders. It is designed for young adults with proven leadership ability and a commitment to community service. Each Rotary District is responsible for designing the content of the program and its appropriate target age group. Attendance is by club nomination and sponsorship only.
In the last 10 years, our RYLA program has trained over 2,000 future leaders, including 289 in 2014. The Sparks Rotary Club alone has directly sponsored 71 of our best and brightest young people in that period of time.
